What is "Shalom Life"?

When most people hear the word Shalom, they think of peace—a quiet moment, or a time without conflict. But in the Bible, Shalom means so much more.

It refers to wholeness, completeness, and living in full harmony with God, ourselves, and others. It’s the feeling of nothing broken, nothing missing, and everything resting in God’s good design.

A Shalom Life isn't about having a life free of stress or difficulty. It’s about being deeply anchored in God’s Word so that His strength and presence keep you complete—no matter what life throws your way.

What We Focus On

• Wholeness over Perfection: We study the Bible not to check a box, but to let God heal, restore, and complete every area of our lives.

• Deep Roots in Scripture: True peace comes from knowing God's character and trusting His promises.

• Real Community: Shalom flourishes when we walk together, encourage one another, and carry each other's burdens.

Who are we?

Shalom Life began when three missionaries from different backgrounds met through Christian conferences, churches, and ministry events in Melbourne. Although this is our first time serving together as one team, we share the same heart: to help people discover the peace of Christ by studying God's Word together. We believe that shalom is more than peace. It is living in the fullness of God's design, where our lives are transformed spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and relationally through Jesus Christ. Through our online Bible study, we hope to make biblical teaching, prayer, and Christian fellowship accessible to anyone, wherever they are.

Each of us has a unique journey, but God has brought us together with one purpose. Fiona has served in missions for over eight years and is passionate about connecting believers from different churches while helping them grow in God's Word. Jess's life was transformed through Scripture, inspiring her to dedicate her life to sharing the truth of the gospel and helping others know Christ personally. Zoe's search for truth led her to study theology, and today she is passionate about helping people build a faith that is grounded in God's Word and confident in the hope of eternal life. Together, we simply desire to point people to Jesus and encourage them to experience the true Shalom that only He can give.
